Meet Guy: Musclehead, Philosopher, AMP Facilitator

Warning: For Transformational Geeks ONLY

I want you to meet a musclehead mentor of mine, Guy Sengstock.

What you’re gonna see is an interview discussion of Guy and I riffing on the early influences of of AMP…

and Circling, the process that we at AMP are most famous for.

This is the stuff Decker, Guy and I geek out about most of the time —

  • How Ego and Superego are formed and disidentified from
  • The Intersubjective “We” (Ken Wilber’s 4-Quadrants holarchical model)
  • What we do at AMP with participants…
  • The Nature of Identity and tripping out on Existence
  • and more… (before our camera ran out of batteries)
Part 1

The player will show in this paragraph

Part 2

If you’re an AMP grad, or interested in diving DEEP into learning how to facilitate identity-level AMP Podwork that we’re famous for — and be completely transformed in the process…  check out Guy’s Training Program - there are still some slots available:

Here’s a note from Decker about it: Decker here.

Below is an unusual invitation, to join a training we lead behind the scenes at AuthenticSF.

If you’ve gotten even a taste of the deep inner work we specialize in at AMP & AWE, you can appreciate how profound this artform is - The ability to be with another person such they discover more about their self and their entire life.

Physicians, therapists, attorneys with their patients or clients…

All of us with the people we care about most…

If you have the bandwidth to learn to work with people in this way, it will infuse every interaction you have with more depth, humor and inspiration.

I have found no other training in the world that will teach this to you, and I have looked for a long time.

** and if you are not in a ‘training phase’ of life, be sure to enjoy where you are as fully as possible, including every person in your life..

(Btw, if you like these deep discussions on transformation, let me know and I’ll add more…) - Bryan

    Bryan,
I am very interested in this “other” side of AMP, the transformational, the spiritual, the “deep” stuff. Personally it is the number one reason why I am so interested in AMP, because of what I consider your blend of sexuality and spirituality.
Please post more, this material is juicy and extremely interesting.

  2. Josh Says:

I like these deep discussions on transformation, Bryan. Keep them coming!

PS: What is circling? I’m sure I’ve been in it in AMP, but I’m not clear on what exactly it is.

  3. Evan Says:

I am currently in the TCLT2 course. Will def. be sitting in on #3 and lending a hand.
If any of you guys out there what your Inner Game rocked hard for one solid year and you want to learn how
to rock it in others sign up while you can. It’s freakin’ awesome and it will change your life. It’s like AMP times 100!

Guy is freakin’ awesome and the other course leaders rock just as much. Def. worth it if you want more of what you got at AMP.

    Evan

    Super interesting! Thanks for posting.

Interesting. Looks like a lot of fun. I can relate to what Guy is talking about. I have observed similar growth in aikido students, and I have seen similar things happen in the relationships that transpire in Avatar courses. I have experienced that kind of personal growth and awareness. Those very lovely “AHA!” moments, after which life is no longer the same.
I had one today. I was with a very lovely woman who is married, and who can not be with me the way I would dearly love her to be, and I felt that the hardest thing, possibly, for a man to do, in the presence of a juicy, radiant woman, is to feel his turn-on, and to not need any more than the enjoyment of it in the moment. And I realized that that is the STRENGTH that women want from their men, and more than that, I realized I have always had it. Ah, peace. Thanks, AMP.
I’d wager that a lot of men will really get more out of this than they ever thought possible.
Something Guy said reminds me of what I am so fond of telling people - you can try all you want, but you can never become what you already are. That requires no trying. Just be it.
Sadly, or gladly, there are ways to learn how, even if it feels impossible. You can be that innocent awareness, unafraid. Loving. Appreciating. Experiencing. Living. Truly living.

Dude… I am digging this like crazy. I swear I’m geeking as I watch. This is crazy interesting…

I like how amp is taking a more spiritual spin to all these things.

  7. Joe Says:

After watching the videos and reading through the website, I’m still not sure what TCLT and circling is supposed to teach you? I understood AMP right away, but this thing just confuses me. Could anyone give me a brief rundown? I want to know what exactly am I buying.

  12. Werner Says:

    Hello there,
another way to experience the “something beneath”in very intense way later whats been called your “Inner presence” I recommend “The Presence Process” by Michael Brown. You’ll get there.

  13. Edward Says:

    Damn!
The way you guys communicate what that ’strategic self’/ego/band-aid over wounds stuff is about is truly inspiring and awesome.
I would LOVE to know how I can really take a good look at that sense of deficiency that is still residing within me. I’ve came along way with coming closer to my core self-esteem but I feel like I’ve gotten to the point to get to the root of the suffering and sense of lack that I still experience in my life. It’s time to shine the light of consciousness on that dark corner of myself. I don’t even know anymore what is there or what once was there, heck, I don’t even know where it is and at times I deny it’s even there. How do I go into it fully and facilitate the transformation into authenticity?

  14. Wim Says:

    Hi there,

Thank you for these excellent video’s. At first, I was a bit skeptical watching Guy, but he is damned interesting and fun to listen to. I consider Guy now to be the muscled version of Eckart Tolle:-).

I would like to share some “aha’s” I had from watching this video. Three years ago, I started to practice Aikido (the Japanese martial art where one learns to unify with the force of an attacker). http://www.bansenjuku.org/aikido.htm Listening to Guy explaining the benefits of circling, I now start to realize that the real benefits I experienced in my life since practicing Aikido, are perhaps not so much due to the physical and mind excercises, but mainly because of the “playing together”, and the “après-aikido”. (Drinking beers after practice with a circle of like-minded friends)…. The latter being probably the best possible healing.

    Thanks for this great work.
    Wim
